Hello!
And welcome to my stop in the Altenew April 2019 Washi Tape/Embossing Paste Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Svitlana Shayevich's blog, however if you need a map, a full list of the blog hop is listed below.
So I hope to inspire and help with some of your wish list decision in my projects today.
Let’s start with the new Embossing Paste! I'll tell you a secret, while I was working with Paste, I was afraid to eat it - such an airy texture it have, it reminded me of a souffle. Lol
So I started my experiments with paste using Layered Dahlia A&B Stencil Bundle.
I wanted to create a multi-layered image, giving volume to some details. This bundle is just perfect!
At first I masked the background and ink blended Cotton Candy, Arctic Crisp and Minty Mint Altenew inks. To give the background texture, I covered it with B stencil and used paste, but dyed it for flowers - with Coral Berry Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray and for the leaves - Mountain Mist Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray.
For the sentiment bunner I used new Gold String Washi Tape - the great way to add a charm to the card. The die "hello" is from Flower Arrangement Die Set.
Next up, is the card featuring the new interesting Misty Meadows Washi Tape with new Golden Trim Washi Tape.
So I made the background using only washi tapes. However, I needed the main element of the card. And I made a butterfly using new Embossing Paste with Flowing Butterfly Stencil. The card came out so summery.
Next up, is the absolutely stunning Teal Shadow Washi Tape. This tape features beautiful watercolored floral images in a soothing teal color. And it is simply created by cutting and making bouquets. Which I did!
To create the background I used my favorite Square Weave Pattern Stencil with the Embossing Paste. To add a color I used Sunkissed Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray.
In the center I placed a pre-made oval, studded with glitter - the perfect way to create an imitation of a shaker. And glued bouquets on top and bottom diagonally from right to left. The die "thank you" is from Flower Arrangement Die Set.
Thank you for visiting my stop in the hop! Head on over to your next stop Erum Tasneem.
