Welcome back to Day 2 of the Reverse Confetti September Release Week!
Today we are showcasing:
HALLOWEEN GNOMES stamp set and Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set..
.
ALL THE STARS die and TRICK OR TREAT die
For this day I made a fun interactive Halloween card using new Halloween Gnomes stamp set with Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set, Trick Or Treat die and Square Window Tag. So when I saw the Square Window Tag die, I thought it was perfect to use for a slider card!
I started with a piece of cardstock which I scored to create a pocket for a slider. The next step was to cut another piece of cardstock that fits inside the first one. And than I created a colorful background. I masked large piece of cardstock because I`ve just wanted to color one of the parts. And I blended the same way on both of my panels. I used Pistachio, Parakeet, Magenta and Navy Dye Ink Pads. To add more texture I splattered backgrounds with white gouache. To create slider element I used large tag from the Square Window Tag set.
To create a sentiment I cut new "Trick or treat" from the black glitter paper.
Next was the time to prepare a fun part of the card. I placed my elements all together to see where I`m gowing to stamp my little bats. And than I stamped them twice, first - on the outside and next - on the inside of the card, just in the same extra position. Next I`ve gone ahead and colored the little cute bats with Copic markers inside and used the coordinating dies to die cut the bats from the outside.
And I created an interactive mechanism of the card. I placed the inside panel in the pocket and close the pocket using some adhesive tape on the flaps.
And it`s time to adhere my Treak or treat letters and all the images to the front of the card and white heat embossed the sentiment on the inside panel.
To finish the card I tied a black cord on the slider and decorated the card with shiny stars.
