Hello!

And welcome to my stop in the Altenew November 2018 Stencil/Ink Spray Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Norine Borys's blog, however if you need a map, a full list of the blog hop is listed below.

I can’t even tell you which one is my favorite, because I love them both! I hope to inspire and help with some of your wish list decision in my projects today.

Let’s start with the new

-->Flowing Hearts Stencil! I like how the curls form the heart, emphasizing the individuality of each part that I have highlighted with violet color.

At first I masked the background and ink blended Puffy Heart and Purple Wine Altenew inks. To give the background texture and sparkling effect, I sprinkled everything with new Puffy Heart Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray.

I framed the little hearts scene off by cutting a piece of cardstock above and below it, which I pre-tinted slightly with Sweet Leaf Crisp Dye Ink.

And I stamped the sentiment from the Sewn with Love Stamp Set. To give romance and tenderness to the card, I added a border using Creative Edges: Lace Die, cutting it out of the vellum.

Next up, is the absolutely stunning Flowing Butterfly Stencil. Here we have two sizes of butterflies, and I decided to focus on the large.

And again I masked the backgriund and ink blended Ocean Waves, Parrot and Fresh Lemon Altenew inks to create a pop of color. I did this three times, placing parts of the butterflies on the edges. I then applied Nuvo glimmer paste over it and removed the mask. But I decided that the background turned out to be boring, so I added funny bright splashes using new Sunkissed Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray, Puffy Heart Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray and Mountain Mist Metallic Shimmer Ink Spray.

I then heat embossed the encouraging sentiment "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly" from Wings of Hope Stamp Set in white embossing powder. And of course some accents to complete this card.

Next up, is the card featuring the new interesting Feathered Leaves Stencil. The detail of these leaves are just gorgeous.

So I made the background using Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. This card came out so tremulous. Therefore, the sentiment here is so sincere "You are the best". I added "YOU" sentiment die cut it using the Caps Bold Alphabet Die Set in white.

Last up the card featuring the new Skylight Stencil. The design of this card is quite simple and fast, but it turned out very charming!
