Today I will show you a card that seems autumn to me. I just really like the combination of blue and orange - that's why I made a card in these colors.


First I created a simple ink blended background that I masked off into a smaller rectangle.


I used here the sentiment from the Celebrate Tag Confetti Cuts. I cut out the bottom layer of sentiment from vellum, and the standalone letters on top from a cork sheet of paper. I think it looks very stylish.


Then I stamped the bold floral image from new  Bloom stamp set in a black hybrid ink and colored them with my alcohol markers. However, I wanted to give this bouquet a shine. So I made heat embossing with gold powder on top. It looks fabulous!


With all the pieces ready, I can now finally assemble it al together.

    I have never seen cork paper used like this before. That is amazing texture and it compliments the orange and gold very well. Thank you for showing us this.

    I LOVE the orange and blue together. This is a new combination for me. I LOVE IT. I also like how you die cut cork letters. I have some cork, and now want to try this. Thanks.
