Hello and Welcome to the October Confetti Creative hop! Our blog hop will consist of three days, and each day will be dedicated to a specific theme.
This day the theme is Halloween/Fall cards!
You'll find the full hop list at the end of this post.
I have prepared two Halloween cards for today. I really like the idea of the holiday, and I just love Halloween cards - they are so much fun, carefree and devilish!
In this card I tried to make a wall with windows from which the characters look out.
I also wanted to use the coordinating dies to homes from Holiday Gnomes stamp set. I don't know about you, but I really like to make a cards with such small windows - it's adds a little special look to a card.
When I created this layout, I placed the dies vertically staggered on the black glitter paper. Yes, in the life the card shines.
Once I have those pieces die cut out, I blended Royal Purple dye with Piggy Bank due, Coral dye and Grape Soda dye.
I stamped all my images and colored them with copic markers. Then, I die cut them out with the coordinating Dies. I than heat embossed sentiment with white powder on the piece of Royal Purple Cardstock.
And finally, I can start assembling the whole card. I used my outer frame and adhered it on the bottom color layer, which I cut out using Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts.
Once that was done, I adhered the pieces. And finally, the images with foam tape. All finished!
My second card is very similar to the first one, very simple in execution, the principle of operation is the same, the set of stamps is the same, it is also with a black frame, but with orange glitter stripes.
I love the mini-formats of cards, they are wonderful as compliments and look so cute in the hands.
Have fun hoping along with all the designers today!
