Welcome back to Day 2 of the Reverse Confetti July Release Week!
Today we are showcasing two new stamp sets called Pattern Builder & Mood Floral Stack! I love when there are images with which we can create our own patterns. One only has to turn on the imagination!
But I decided to go a non-standard way and combined these two sets, creating this fun summer flower card. The modern design of this sets adds a fun twist the usual intricate layer sets that we are used to seeing. I was happy to see that the coordinating dies for this sets die cuts each and every layer of this images! Which means, your layers can be separated to add tons of dimension.
I started by stamping all the various layers separately. For the flowers I used Bumblebee Yellow dye ink and added some blue colors. The leaves were stamped in Seafoam and Mint dye inks. Then, I die cut all the various layers separately with the coordinating dies.
For the background, I blended Bumblebee Yellow, Seafoam, and Iced Aqua dye inks. Then, I assembled all the flowers directly onto the background with a lot of foam tape. It may have taken awhile but it was totally worth it. Look at the dimesion!
I framed the little floral scene off by cutting a piece of Stormy Cardstock above and below it. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Mood Floral Stack stamp set in white below it. Such a happy card! I love it.
